Rafoxanide is fasciolicide that may be given orally or parenterally. It is effect against adult and young flukes.it is also active against blood sucking nematodes and tissue-invading fly maggots. The drug is well absorbed and has good safety index.
Indications:
Uvexide is indicated for the treatment and control of fascioliasis, for both mature and immature flukes in Cattle and Sheep.
Dosage and administration:
Uvexide is administered orally at dose rate :
3ml / 10 kg body weight
Precautions :
- Don't use in lacting animals.
- Don't overdose.
Withdrawal period:
Meat : 28 days .
