Each 1 gm contains:

Amoxicillin ( as trihydrate ) 500 mg.

Amoxycillin is a bactericidal semisynthetic penicillin with a broad spectrumantibacterial effect against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It has ahigh margin of safety and after oral administration it is well absorbed.

The plasma concentration following amoxicillin is approximately twice that achieved by the same dose of ampicillin.

It is well distributed in body fluids and easily excreted by the kidney.

Uvexil50% is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal,respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by Amoxicillin sensitive micro-organism like Compylobacter, Clostridium,Salmonella, E-Coli, Proteus spp, Haemophilus, Pasteurella,Penicillinase negative Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp in

calves, sheep, goats and poultry.
