Amprolium is anti-coccidialcompound, it is a structural analogue of vitamin B1 (thiamine) Coccidian needs vitamin B1 to develop and reproduce amprolium competitively inhibits vitamin B1 utilization by the parasite, and when coccidian ingest it instead of vitamin B1 they strave and die since amprolium has no nutritive value.
Amprolium acts primarily upon the first generation schizont in the cells of the intestinal wall, preventing differentiation of the merozoites. It may also suppress the sexual stages and sporulation of the oocysts.

For treatment of moderate and severe outbreaks of all types of coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys.

Treatment : Severe Infection : 100 gm / 200 liters of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Mild Infection : 50 gm / 200 liters of drinking water for 5-7 days. Then use 25 gm / 200 liters of drinking water  for 7 - 14 days.
Prevention : 25 gm / 200 liters of drinking water on skip-a-day feeding program.
WARNING : Do not supply water that is not medicated during the period of treatment.

Meat : 7 days.
Eggs : 4 days.

Store at a temp. below 30º C in a dark place.
