Neomycin has a spectrum affecting mainly gram-negative bacteria. The oral administration of neomycin is convenient and safe way for treating enteric infections due to gram-negative organisms.

Uveneoral 20% is indicated for the treatment diarrhea and control od colibacillosis caused by E.coli susceptible to neomycin in Cattle, Sheep, Goat and Poultry and bacterial enteritis.

 

Poultry dose:
From 1 day to 6 weeks: 50-100 ml/200 liter of water.
More than 6 weeks: 100 ml/200 liter of water.
Treatment for 3-5 days
In divided dose in drinking water to be consumed in 12-24 hours.
It may be administered daily as drench for animals that are not drinking or eating.
