Each 1 gm contains:

Erythromycin thiocyanate 250 mg

Colistin ( as sulphate ) 500 000 I.U

The addition of Colistin to Erythromycin in Uvegal super completes its action & produces a distinctive effectiveness.

Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic,which has a distinctive activity against Gram-positive bacteria & Mycoplasma.

Colistin is a polypeptide antibiotic active against Gram- negative bacteria & is

poorly absorbed from the Gl tract.

Uvegal super is indicated in poultry for prevention & treatment of CRD complex, Infectious sinusitis &synovitis, Infectious coryza, Enteritis, Salmonellosis,

Colibacillosis & also in stress conditions.
