Amoxycillin is a bactericidal semisynthetic penicillin with a broad spectrum antibacterial effect against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It has a high margin of safety and after oral administration it is well absorbed.

The plasma concentration following amoxicillin is approximately twice that achieved by the same dose of ampicillin.

It is well distributed in body fluids and easily excreted by the kidney.

Colistin is a polypeptide antibiotic which is the least toxic of the five antibiotics known as Polymyxins .

they are narrow spectrum antibiotics and bactericidal in action against Gram – negative organisms

Colistin is poorly absorbed from the GI tract after oral administration, thus offering specific advantage in the treatment and control of GIT infections .

Broad spectrum bactericidal active against wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive organisms including Streptococcus, Penicillin sensitive Staphylococcus strains, Haemophilus strains, E.coli, Proteus spp., Salmonella spp.

It is highly absorbed regardless to presence of feed, giving high serum levels twice as high as those rom the same dose of Ampicillin.

Easily excreted by the kidneys.

Indicated in gastrointestinal infections and respiratory tract infections also in urogenital tract infections.

Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption for a period of at least one day after the last treatment.

Store at temperature below 30^oC in a dry  place .
