Acetyl salicylic acid is one of the Nonsterodial anti – inflammatory drugs It possess an analgesic , antirheumatic , antipyretic effects , attributed to the ability to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin’s which are important mediators of inflammation and pyrexia . Vitamin C increases the body’s resistance to all kinds of infections & stresses . It participates in various oxidation & reduction processes .
Indications:
-Poultry : As an anti-stress factor, in heat strokes, post-vaccinal reactions, in viral and acute bacterial diseases. -Large animals : As a post - operative pain killer. In cases of rheumatic pains, tendenitis, myocitis and neuritis. In combination with an antibiotics therapy, as it potentiates their action, especially in presence of fever.
Dosage and administration:
Poultry : 50gm / 100 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days. Large animals: 2 gm / 100 kg body weight twice daily for 3-5 days.
