Gentamicin is a broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic belong to the aminoglycoside group. It is active against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria such as staphylococci, proteus spp. E.coli, salmonella,klebsiella and pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Treatment of urinary, respiratory and digestive tract infection caused by or associated with organisms sensitive to its action as: E. Coli, Klebsilla and Salmonella.

It is very useful in the treatment and control of gastro-intestinal infections in domestics animals.

-Gentamicin- 50 is administered by I.M or slow I.V

-General Dose: (4 mg/Kg B.W) = 1 ml / 12.5 kg B.W.

Cattle, Horses : 30 – 50 ml

Calf, Foal :         4 – 8 ml

Sheep, Goat :     2 – 5 ml

Dogs, Cats :      0.3 – 2 ml

Meat : 20 days

Milk : 7 days

Store at temp below 30º C, protected from light .
