The two antibiotics in Erythroquine , control a wide range of bacterial infections.
Erythromycin is amicrolide antibiotic, which is suitable for treatment of
Gram – Positive bacteria and it has a good activity against mycoplasma spp. .
Flumequine : has predominately Gram – Negative activity with some limited
activity against pseudomonas .
Erythromycin and Flumequine are well absorbed after oral administration .
Indications:
For prevention and treatment of primary colibacillosis or colibacillosis complications of CRD , salmonellosis , pullorosis , typhosis and paratyphosis . Fowl and duck cholera , coryza staphylococci infections , ... etc .
Dosage and administration:
Treatment: Poultry : 200 gm / 200 liters of drinking water for 3 - 5 days .
Calves : 1 gm / 20 kg of body weight for 3 - 5 days .
Cattle : 1 gm / 40 kg of body weight for 3 - 5 days .
Prevention : Half of the treatment dose .
Withdrawal period:
Animals shoud not be slaughtered for human consumption for a period of at least 7 days after last treatment.
